I'm pretty sure the Reds are like 0-5 when I start a game thread, so sorry about this...but there wasn't one started so I had to. First pitch in 30 min

Good lord, this is getting hard to take. No consistency in this club at all. .500 baseball may be the best we can hope for. I know its early, but they are missing something....not sure what it is, but some semblance of consistency is needed. Rolen isn't giving it, nor is Gomes. They may need to make a move asap.

Will never happen. Said he wants 100 mil in his next contract. And I don't wanna give away a chunk of the farm for a rent a player.

He can say whatever he wants, he is NOT getting 100 million.

Just got home from Cincy a while ago and watched the replay of yesterday's game...we were on FOX about 50 or so times. Every time the camera showed Cueto or a right-handed pitcher we were right there mugged in the background. The first Kemp HR I was the first one standing to possibly catch the ball. Unfortunately that damn camera adds 20 lbs to me and the lady. Lol

If Reyes keeps it going he might. He's electric when healthy...but that hasn't been often.

Well at least Dusty took advantage of getting to rest the bullpen yesterday.

First time I have got to watch this weekend. I see Casey is in the booth. How many references to "crushing food" has he made so far?

Well we got 2. I'll take it.
I think Casey has been pretty good in the booth this weekend.

Reds cut the lead to one, but leave a lot more on the table. Votto looking too much for multiple RBIs rather than being sure to get the one in to tie it that didn't require a hit to get!

That first pitch to Bruce was not a strike. Not even that close.

Lewis just showed why he gets taken out for defense, just like Gomes does, in favor of Heisey late in games. Wood sure was disappointed about it and broke his reputation a little about not showing how the game is going in his demeanor.
