Votto's first HR off a lefty this year, even though he's hitting over .400 against lefties. Now can Cueto and the bullpen hold on with the good working margin?

We haven't seen a clutch hit from Votto in a while, I was wondering when it'd come

Just seems like he hasn't been hitting with too many people on base...with BP's recent slump in the 2 hole and Stubbs slump in the leadoff spot.

We haven't seen a 3-run home run or even a 2-run home run from Votto lately.

Votto just had a game winning 2 run homer a couple nights ago.

Well luck sure has changed with BP and now Heisey's bloops.

That's was a play where another catcher could have been racked up as he gave Bruce no where to go. I agree with what Bench said about the Posey play, and this one by Navarro was worse.

Johnny Bench, told the Tulsa World that Posey "put himself in such a bad position" on the play.

"I teach my kids to stay away from the plate when you don't have the ball so the runner actually sees home plate and his thought is, 'slide,'" Bench told the newspaper. "But Buster is laying in front of home plate, and it's like having a disabled car in the middle of a four-leaf highway. You're just going to get smacked. Show them the plate. You can always catch the ball and step, or step and catch the ball, as long as you've got the runner on the ground. And if you have the runner on the ground, there's less of a chance of any severe collision."

Good call. Maybe I'm just expecting one out of him every game haha

I wasn't trying to criticize him, btw.

Masset a victim of BP being worked over by ground balls! With a five run lead in the 8th you'd think the infielders might hold their positions when the runner is moving on the pitch. His run only makes it so a grand slam will tie the game.

Bray a victim of the umpire - pitches 1, 2, and 5 were in the strike zone, but Hunter wouldn't call them.

Why the hell did he take Cueto out? If they lose to this incredibly inferior team, I'm calling for Dusty's head.
