Not a good game. I was driving home and it was 3-0. I parked the car, walked into the house, and it was 3-3. I knew it was not gonna be a good night at that point.

Does anybody play a deeper LF than Hamilton? That ball LaPorta hit is a double against any other LF. He plays about 5 ft infront of the warning track. And don't give me that no double defense. The other 2 Of were'nt playing deep.

Also, not that impressed with Feliz. Smoked 2 balls off him. His fastball is very strait.

See what I posted earlier in the thread.

"RHP Neftali Feliz worked through the middle of the Tampa Bay lineup on the way to picking up a save in a 3-0 Rangers' victory. The 2010 AL Rookie of the Year has been struggling with all kinds of issues this season, from a sore shoulder to a drop in velocity, an over-reliance on his fastball and a seeming inability or unwillingness to throw inside on hitters.Feliz has blown three saves in the last two weeks, all against Kansas City. He also allowed the go-ahead run to score in another game against the Royals. (Yahoo! Sports)"

He has lost so much velocity (like 5 MPH) and his control is gone. BUT, he has gotten the job done versus everyone but KC. But there are growing concerns in Texas.

I just wanted to tell you guys I'm proud of you tonight. We posted hard till the very end. We just didn't get the breaks we needed. Lets get behind eachother so we can get closer and be more productive. Hopefully we can come tomorrow and put on a great show.

Yes, DW, that was a good post!

BRF says "oh well" and we try again tomorrow.

Let's see....I do believe we are still 12 games over .500.

Go Tribe!

Actually, at this current pace (.611 win%) we'd be 99-63...

Obviously, this pace won't continue...

But, .500 ball the rest of the way gets us to 87 wins...

If we can play just 6 games over .500 the rest of the season, we'd have 93 wins. That's more than likely good enough to be AL Central champs.

Long way to go though, but I'm going to enjoy it. It is frustrating watching a game get blown like todays, but it is what it is.

Very frustrating game but we're bound to have those unfortunately. I actually liked this lineup a lot better although I still think we should bring up Cord Phelps to spell OC and play some DH.

Just gotta get 2 of 3. Let's go Tribe.

Of course 3 of last 9 is only .333, which probably won't happen either, but if you knew now where between .611 and .333 you could be a rich man:)

I agree... when are the critical dates and what not to bring up minor league guys? Is it June 1st? I don't know the contract rules/dates.

Initially I'd heard this was typically a 4-8 week injury with 4 being "conservative."

As you said earlier this week, ballplayers are pussies these days. No way we ever see any player surpass Ripken's record of consecutive games played.

I am not that old, but during the mid 90's I sure as hell don't recall many baseball players taking "scheduled" days off. Such an overrated concept imo. If you are not a pitcher, you don't need that much rest.

Agreed, I'd love to try and tell my coach, "Hey coach, I need to take this match off for scheduled rest". He would have flipped out no doubt.

The Tribe's pitching is coming back down to earth---I'll be amazed if we can play .500 ball the rest of the way :(

It's really not the pitching. It's the offense. Sure, they'll have a big game, but they need to get consistent again.

Tribe offense goes quietly again. Amazing how teams can put together productive at bats and piece together hits against us, but we get up and go right down in about 10 or so pitches. Smh

Hopefully Masterson can get a quick inning and the offense can get something brewing.
