On a real note ...I lost favor with this kid from the onset because he came to Ohio state and was given the starting job on what had to of been a deal maker from a very good startinng QB already in place he was not the better QB as a frosh but it was given to him anyway ... Then he sticks up for that pariah LeBon James who came to an Ohio State game ...Pryor made comments as to the fans shouldnt boo that stink bomb .... He comes from the same cloth as LeBon James.. and yes I dont know how to spell that jerks name for a reason ... what kind of stupid name is Lebron ..LOL .. Thats about a goofy stupid name ...!!!! Anyway ...He owes Ohio State another football year and he needs to pay up ..No I dont really care for the guy too much ..But I will cheer a TD pass from him and he needs to come back this year strong and give us a 12-0 season or close to it before those Nazi's from the NCAA impose all these crazy droppings on us

But as much as he is supported in Jeannette, he is a pariah in Columbus.

The tone of many discussions around campus hot spots and even in places like the local convenience mart — where patrons are already debating who should replace Tressel — paint Pryor as the villain in this scandal.

The main issue isn’t that Pryor and his teammates got in trouble for selling memorabilia. It is that he has made poor choices that have caught the public’s eye since Tressel’s resignation and has been in the news since.

Tressel, on the other hand, is more of a sympathetic figure, viewed simply as the man who had to take the fall for his players’ bad acts.

“If you think about it, all [Tressel] did was stand up for his players and try to protect them,” said one patron at Tecks Barber Shop in Columbus.

“Pryor should have known better,” added another, “and honestly, after the way he has acted with the cars and stuff it is time for him to leave.”

Most people around campus seem to share that opinion — that Tressel was standing up for his players and that they, more specifically Pryor, should get the bulk of the blame.

“I just can’t believe how fast people have turned on him,” Reitz said. “Two years ago, they wanted to give him a key to the city up there. Now they want to hang the kid.”

I did think Boeckman was good He did very well for us as I remember.. I never heard of him being scared..Is that a joke or something . A starting QB for Ohio state scared ?!?! You gotta be kidding me Big Ten football isnt exactly pee wee

Look up his comments about USC. I don't remember him being good. I remember him trying to make throws he couldn't make, make terrible decisions, and couldn't move out of the pocket.... You almost had to play the fresh, why not?!??

Boeckman started out well enough, but freely admitted that his confidence was shot by the end of his run. Said it seemed like there were more than 11 defenders on the field

I wouldnt go that far, but you cant argue that he was great. The stats dont tell the whole story. He got fat off a lot of cupcakes and often got exposed by better competition

I know. Just like Pryor will go down as the best QB in OSU history because he played quarterback on some good teams. A lot of people say Pryor is a good QB because of his record.

Not in my book. Guy isnt a great QB. He also devours poor competition and has a couple games per year where you wonder how he puts up the numbers that he does. Poor fundamentals and poor decision making.

Maybe I was watching a different team . You cant have a Cam Newton every year As I recall he beat Michigan several times ..thats all i care about and Penn St too

I think Boeckman was awful without a running game, but when Beanie was in there he was pretty good.
