Reds haven't been good on national TV this year, going 0-2.
Cueto vs Jurrjens
Reds win this one in a pitchers duel, 3-2.

Yup Jurrjens has been Atlanta's best and most consistent starter this year. Hopefully that continues tonight.

Reds will equal Corey Patterson's last night total for hits....hopefully that'll be enough.

Reds scout Greg Zunino has a son who plays catcher for the Florida Gators. Yesterday he knocked out his own pitcher in a scary play. Brian Johnson has a big lump on his head and is day to day. He was chillin in the dugout today, not in uniform.

McCann will get the night off, meaning the best backup catcher in baseball will get the start. Also, Venters, O'Flaherty, and Linebrink will not be available out of the bullpen tonight. Jurrjens needs to go at least 7 or it could get dicey.

Vbookie thread is up.
Reds will either hit Jurrjens like they have no business or will get about 2 hits in 7 2/3....my guess is the latter...but we'll see.

I was offered 4 for Tuesday as well...could not go but could have sold them easily to pay for gas, parking and concessions. Oh well....shouldn't be greedy. It was a generous gift.

Rolen has hit some balls hard of late... But he has warning track power and I'm ready for Bruce to bat 4th at least while he's on fire.
