Game 1 behind us now for 2 in a row and on from there. Leake with the 1st win by a Reds starter since May 16! Still waiting for that offensive explosion, but I'll take good starting pitching with some timely hitting if it gets a WIN!

Gomes is 3/6 and a HR off of Lowe...#Reds lineup: Stubbs 8, Phillips 4, Votto 3, Rolen 5, Bruce 9, Gomes 7, Renteria 6, Hanigan 2, Arroyo RHP. vs. Lowe

Someone sneaks some booze into the Atlanta clubhouse, Lowe gets out of control and can't throw strikes, Reds win 8-2.

Shit, I've NEVER had alcohol-related charges filed against me, but if someone snuck booze into wherever I might be at any time, I'd be like, "Fuck what I'm supposed to be doing, it's 5 o-clock somewhere!"
And I hold Lowe to the same standards I hold myself.

Because you know that everybody who has charges dropped against them is completely innocent of any wrongdoing haha.Someone sneaks some booze into the Atlanta clubhouse, Lowe gets out of control and can't throw strikes, Reds win 8-2.

the way these guys have been hitting, that's like 5 pitchers in a row with Gomes, ER, Hanny, BA, Stubbs

Gomes may be 3-6 in his career vs Lowe...but not how he is swinging. Had he been swinging like he is his entire career he would've never got out of rookie ball.

agreed. Go get me a random, retired player who has had success in a small sample size against Lowe. Think we should start that guy? I hate when small samples are treated as gospel. Especially when the success could have very easily happened years agoGomes may be 3-6 in his career vs Lowe...but not how he is swinging. BA continues to struggle. So tired of being behind after 1.

batting practice, hope Dusty doesn't stick with him, but with this overused pen he might have to.

Braves might be breaking out of their slump tonight. Need to keep tacking on in case Bruce decides to not ground out with bases loaded.

Big fan of Horst, seen him in Dayton and Louisville. He's one of the big reasons they were able to DFA DRH

This team goes as Stubbs goes.
Jonny with 2 hits, He's here to stay so might as well root for him.

Wow, what a debut for Jeremy Horst. First at bat is an RBI single, and now he's in line to get the win.

Turns out Lowe did pitch like he was drunk. Fucker finally gets run support and gives it up like a high school freshman girl at her her first prom.

It was about 10 rows up in right field, a no doubter.

Very nice play by Renteria...way into the OF
Gomes with 3 hits...all pitches he can handle...good for him but atrocious scouting by the Braves. Renteria has scolded the ball twice but to no avail on hits.
Brian McCann...geesh

GREAT play by Jordan Schaefer in LCF....I counted 23 steps to get to that ball with 2 on and 2 out & had to avoid the LF
By comparison Willie Mays famous WS catch was 21 steps.
