May as well put a position player on the mound if it goes to extras as the Reds put the bats away too early. In the past few days, the Reds have played 13 extra innings and the hitters have hit in exactly ONE run.

LeCure threw 60 pitches last Sunday. Fisher threw 100 pitches 3 days ago. Why the hell is LeCure wasting a roster spot if he can't pitch? I just don't get it, Walt.

Fisher is 0-2 in less than a week despite doing everything he could do to hold onto the games. The life and times of a guy who's the designated 4-A reliever for a team, apparently. He got his arm killed trying to hold on to a tie so the offense might finally wake the fuck up a few days ago and then got sent to the wolves again in this last game. I'm sure he'll be glad knowing his 2011 MLB legacy is "guy who got killed trying to bail out an offense that turned impotent midway through a game and then was sent down when someone in their plans is ready to return".
Sportswizuhrd...I don't think so, because during the game, they mentioned LeCure as an option, but along the lines of "they're in deep trouble if the game goes on and he can't go because Cordero is the only other bullpen guy". And then Fisher was gassed and nothing happened except the loss. And considering that Thom is a regular Cinci announcer, I'd think he'd know who was on their roster at that time. Karros might not have, but he would have.

Lecure supposedly said that he couldn't get warm. That's what baker says. Then lecure tweets that he's ready if his name gets called. So what's the deal here???
