I don't know....I always thought Dirk was soft, but that dude has heart. And a lot of these Dallas players will never get another shot as they are at the end of their careers....i think Dallas has a pretty decent shot in Miami.

If that was "Now or Never" for LeBron, I guess he should retire. With Batman hobbled, it was his turn & time. Nope. LeRobin. No clutch gene.

In his defense... It's not easy to live up to his hype.

So, Cleveland is the reason LeBron was being regarded as the best player in the NBA? That's what you're saying? If Cavs fans didn't hype up their best player, LeBron wouldn't be looked at as the best player?
Even though LeBron gave himself these titles BEFORE he stepped foot on an NBA court, and BEFORE the Cavs won the draft lottery?
I get it.. It's easier to blame Cleveland for LeBron's failures than it is to admit that LeBron is failing to live up to his own hype... Gotcha.
Now you're just putting words in my mouth. Where did I say any of that?
My point is this. Cleveland fans embraced the whole "King James" thing when he was there and built up his massive ego and now that he's gone and playing mediocre of course the tune has changed and I expect it. I just think its comical.

@jimrome: Lebron tweeted last night: Now or Never. Never, I guess. Not 1, not 2, not 3, not 4, not 5, not 6, not 7. 0.

Oh ok, Cleveland embraced it... But ESPN, the NBA, or anybody else with anything to do with it didn't? SMH. Please, just stop.

No way the Heat are done. The heat won't be done until the Mavs win 4 games. I think that Miami can still win games 6 and 7 I mean hell the Lakers did it last year!jpake1;796948 wrote:It pains me to say it, but most will be happy to see it... the Heat are done.

It's not the Cavs fans fault. Lebron had some kind of magic potion in that dust he threw up before every game that gave the fans thoughts that Lebron was actually what he said he was.

Of course Cleveland fans were going to back a Cleveland player...probably the greatest athlete the city has ever had. Then he threw his teammates under the bus and quit on them in the boston series. Then he had the whole decision debacle...what do you expect all these fans to say?

17/10/10... Sure, it looks nice.. But 2 4th quarter points when the game was on the line the entire time and 4 more turnovers.
He was also 8/19 from the field, including a couple of bad shots/decisions in the 4th.
He also had a +/- of (-11) for those who care about that.
I'm sorry, but if this guy is the BEST player in the NBA, more should be expected. The apologists he has by his side is kind of sickening. I called him out last year while he was on the Cavs and I definitely have no problem doing it now.
He's mentally weak. He wants to be the "Chosen One", he wanted all the accolades that came with being called "King James".. Well, he better do something about it. Thus far, he hasn't..
Again, MJ was never held below 20 points in a Finals game. LeBron is averaging 17 PPG in this Finals.
Cool. I don't give a shit what you say either.

Yes of course they did. Thats ESPN for you, build them up then tear them down.
I'm leaning towards Mavs in 7. I predicted Miami in 6, but I severely underestimated Dallas' defense. I didn't think they would be able to check Miami for this many games.

Haha true but I mean a lot of people were counting the Lakers out last year after Boston won game 5 and took the 3-2 lead. It will come down to if the Mavs can continue to make shots and or the Heat play better perimeter defense. Barea stepped up tonight though I've been waiting for him to do that this whole series.

Magic had a good point....
Bron's ONLY 4th quarter points were on a conceded lay up....
Bron's ONLY 4th quarter points were on a conceded lay up....

Dallas is forcing Miami to play much more in the half court than they would like. Think of the game tonight....very few quick transition baskets from the Heat.

Miami probally played their best offensive game of the series. They shot 53% from the field, 40% from 3's and 81 % from the FT and they out-rebounded the Mavs by 10.
The Mavs just couldn't miss from 3 tonight.

Exactly. LBJ has scored 2 points or less in the 4th quarter in 4 straight games.
Yet, here the LBJ backers are defending him to every point.
Now, Miami isn't done and they probably will win this series with the next two being played in an empty arena.

Oh please, I made a statement and you got bent out of shape and typed a fuckin' term paper as a response. I have my opinion and you have yours. I never said he was clutch tonight or anything like that. In fact, I said he wasn't good enough tonight. I just thought that he played a decent game overall.
And some on here were saying lotz was the sensitive one on this thread. You're overreacting to my posts. Have a few more beers and call it a night.
