I believe Maloney went to the DL. Can't remember. It's Darryl Thompson. He was our minor league pitcher of the year and someone most of us thought would be pitching for the reds by now. But he's fallen off a good bit.

And tiger.... Last night yes, fan running on the field= idiot! Doesn't he remember what happened last year!?

Bottom of the 6th a big inning for the Reds after tying it up - need to get through it with a zero with Thompson, then a pinch hitter, then their regular relievers.

Couldn't get warmed up...........but was gonna be going to the outfield the next inning apparently, he and Bruce were gonna flip flop from RF and LF depending on the batter.

Darryl (or as I like to call him, Dennis) Thompson has walked four guys while getting four out. And gave up a ground rule double to the pitcher.

So, if LeCure wasn't used last night, why didn't they use him instead of this guy?

They brought him up to pitch TODAY. he wasn't coming up otherwise. Trying to save arms in the bullpen. I realize lecure didn't go last night so he should be good for today. But if he couldn't get warmed up last night then maybe they didn't want to risk something.. Idk

Probably the last major league performance by Thompson! Had the last four in the order to negotiate for his last inning, gave up two walks and a single to the first 3 and then the pitcher hits it over the fence(on the bounce), and each of the 6,7,8 hitters all eventually score to make it 7-4!

I feel stoooopid.

On the MLB.com website to track the pitches it has RESULT, MPH, PITCH and NF. What the fuck is NF?

They said it was a close call whether LeCure or Maloney was going on the DL. I think they said LeCure had a tight forearm.
