A quick 1-2-3 inning for Chapman in his first rehab appearance. He threw just eight pitches (six for strikes). Scoreless after one. @Reds
That's good news. Aroldis started the game and Leake will follow him.

Dumbest thing I've ever heard. Philly(all sports) fans are a very different breed.

That's an odd way to go about it. Was there a reason for that?? Maybe they can do that with him up here in the first inning of a volquez start, since it's usually only the first inning when he sucks.... Usually!

lol I have no idea on the decision to pitch them that way tonight. Just saw it on the Bats' twitter.

Hell, I think you or I could pitch the 1st for Edinson and do better.

I hate to say this because I respect most of you Reds fans on here, but I am so damn happy the Reds came to town, and Bronson was the game 1 starter....

I think the Reds got a lucky break there. Hopefully they can take advantage of it and get out of the inning with no damage.

It's really close. I keep going back and watching. Need an over the top view. Cause you can't see where his hand is when he hits his helmet.

If you have MLBtv.com they showed it where Hanigan did tag him but Ruiz hand was already on the plate....bang bang play sometimes you get the break and sometimes it don't.

I know they will try to bunt Hanigan over, but I wouldn't mind seeing him swing the bat.
