Yeah me too, because how well my players (especially skill players) can read, write and speak is a BIG DEAL as compared to how they run, catch the football, etc.
Yawn. Kids that go to schools like Florida and Ohio State are only student athletes because they're forced to be. They're fucking athletes, they're at college to get to the professional level just like some nerd computer science major--except their professional level is in pro sports. I thought that's what college was all about, preparing you for the professional level. They're there because schools like Ohio State and Florida prepare them for the next level of FOOTBALL. Lets be honest, they'll take stupid classes, get tons of help (which they deserve) and some won't even graduate. Who gives a shit, they're there to play football not cross their t's and dot their i's.
