Jim Tressel is a hypocrite in this situation because he preaches about doing the right thing and having integrity and molding his "young people". Way to lead by example, Jim. (Sarcasm)

Yes, it had nothing to do with the OP's assertion that Gene Smith was still backing Tressel.

I was commenting on why OSU is not paying Tressel's "legal bills".

How is that a fact? Please explain how it is more than just your ignorant opinion. Tressel has more national titles, twice as many BCS bowl wins and more wins overall all the while playing in a MUCH tougher conference. How exactly is Peterson better?
