It's probably because I'm ignorant...but I can't see anywhere on my moderator tab that has these email contacts.

I do believe we can get some of those that left to return. This place is more user friendly than just 2-3 years ago. A few asshats are gone and everyone really gets each other. Not too much to moderate anymore.
