I already thought working a 13 hour shift on a Saturday was going to be the death of me before reading this thread.

Here is a guy citing the Bible, and then there is this:
The Book of Matthew offers what appears to be contradictory information. Matthew 24:36 says that “Of that day and hour knoweth no one, not even the angels of heaven, neither the Son, but the Father only,” in reference to the Rapture. This passage indicates that the day the Rapture will occur is beyond human understanding; only God will know.
Just another example of why anyone who listens to a religious figure is a bigger moron than said religious figure.

His ads also encourage people to tune in to Family Radio, a listener-supported Christian radio network founded by doomsday cultist Harold Camping. The 89-year-old talk-radio personality has inspired thousands of people in North American to quit their jobs, empty their bank accounts, and hit the streets in an effort to “save” others.
EL-OH-FUCKING-EL. When those fucks are starving in a gutter somewhere, I'll be there to piss on them.

But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.
Matthew 24:36
So whenever I hear someone say they know when "the time" will be, I know that it is not the time. Haha.

Isn't it just like God to end the world on a Saturday?

I cant tell you how many Mondays that I hoped that this was a viable outcome.

Wouldn't logic tell people, that if it was going to happen, it'd be based on Middle Eastern time? So, if it were to happen, wouldn't today be the day it would occur here?

Maybe not. I was told that the rapture follows time zones. Ours will be at 6pm.

Now I just need to find something to do in the mean time.
