Anyone going to pick this game up? It looks really interesting, I haven't played a Grand Theft Auto type game in years.... I'm off tomorrow, going to go pick it up!

This looks awesome, the reviews all just got released at noon --- pretty much 8.5 to 9.5 across the board.

I preorded this on amazon months ago, it will be delivered tomorrow afternoon, and I will have to stay up late and play.

You didn't play Red Dead Redemption? Definitely one of the top 5 games of 2010

Truth.

GTA IV was pretty good too from a few years back, a little overrated in my opinion, but it would be worth checking out if you didn't play it as well.

+1. RDR was my favorite game of 2010.

Definitely picking this one up, it looks amazing. Some things I've heard recently have knocked it down a few notches though, but I'm sure it'll still be a great game.

This game looks excellent. Rockstar's last two big games GTAIV and Red Dead Redemption have been very good. GTAIV didn't have the replayability of some of the others in the series but it was a far better game overall.

LA Noire looks like it'll be one of the more cinematic games to come out.

I just hope that the game doesn't feel tedious with all the details i have read.

I feel like the GTA series may have "jumped the shark" as they say. Which sucks, because it's probably my favorite series of games ever. But I didn't like 4 very much.

I only played a bit of 4, but it just didn't seem as fun as San Andreas. Kinda because of how the beginning felt like the "retard tutorial" thing too many games have. Like in San Andreas, you were in the mix with some cool missions right from the beginning, while in 4, it was like: learn how to drive; pick up a girl for a date; learn how to do this; etc. I didn't play much and I'm sure it gets a lot better, but the most fun I had in those first couple hours was doing an over-the-top impersonation to a friend on how pathetic Nico's cousin or whatever is.

Yeah San Andreas was awesome, but I thought that's kinda where it started. That game was almost too big.

ive been waiting for this game since Rockstar announced it on their website like two years ago. The technology used to recreated 1947 Los Angeles, and a brand new motion capture system to capture facial movements in great detail make it pretty cutting edge.

I do know that this game was the first video game to be shown at the Tribeca Film Festival. I'll be getting it this weekend

Call me crazy, but i prefer the over the top approach of saints row 2 over gta4

Which is weird because GTAIV was the first one that I liked for more than a "lets just do random shit" game. The narrative was very good.
