Top of the 5th. Reds up 3-2 on a Jay Bruce 3-run shot. Volquez struggling w/ control it sounds like.

Matt Garza is a dumb man. Walking Renteria with a runner on third with Votto coming up = RBI single.
And yeah, Volquez has only given up two hits, but also three walks. One of the Chicago runs came on a passed ball.

A bad call got EV out of the 5th without any further damage. The runner was NOT doubled off 2B on the liner to BP!

Now come on now, you can't award that base because he leaned into it.

LOL, the Cubs pulled off what the Reds tried to do against the Marlins. Bases loaded, 0 outs, and didn't score another run.

Since the Reds have given up one run per inning for the last four innings, they probably should try to have one more three-run burst to open up their advantage again.

Brantley called that - a breaking ball off the plate to get Castro for the 3rd out in the 6th to leave the bases loaded and the Reds still in the lead. LeCure with a great job inheriting two runners with no out and then getting snake-bit on his first two batters with a ground ball thru the infield and a tailing in HBP.

Chances no one gets any more runs- 40%
Chances Reds get more runs - 40%
Chances Cubs get more runs - 30%
Chances both teams get more runs - 10%
