The official post time for the Kentucky Derby is scheduled for Saturday at 6:24 p.m. ET

BTW, apparently Yum! Brands, the company that owns and operates KFC and Taco Bell, has been the presenting sponsor of the Kentucky Derby since 2006. Both the Derby and the company are based in Louisville.
