He doesn't know that I'm making the trip back to Ohio to witness his graduation. He also doesn't know that I'm bringing him a brand new core i7 laptop. I think he'll love seeing me, it's been over a year since I've seen him.

The handful of you that know me in real life know that I'm even more obnoxious in person than I am on here. So I'm thinking of ways to be loud and embarass him when his name is called, because until that point he won't even know I'm there. I need help.

I have a vuvuzela. Will that be enough?

please lets put our heads together here. I need epic pain in the ass ideas (that don't get me arrested).

Perhaps you could try addressing the Principal and Guidance Counselor with a rambling speech about their conspiracy against you (or your nephew), saying things like, "You know who you are, you know what you did," and "I'd like to give a big thanks to Mr. Simms for fucking over my life," and "I'll see ya in hell" before jumping off the stage and walking out.

Yea but for all those other deserving kids before and after the idiots who yell and blare horns or whatever ---- their families can't hear their loved ones names and their loved ones then get hosed by the disrespect purely because they come before or after someone who needs to be an idiot. It's a CEREMONY. Conduct yourselves with a little bit of class and respect for others. It's neither the time nor the place for airhorns, vuvuselas, etc.

Depends on the graduation ceremony. Some are accepting of obnoxious cheering... some are more solemn.

Another consideration it how fast they are reading through the names. If you are cheering/making noise during the announcement of the next kid, that is extremely disrespectful.

Agreed. I will try to respect the next kid but the vuvuzela is happening.

I had some buddies lined up to set off fireworks for his name but I just learned its indoors.
