Another example of how the people who watch this show have no clue what talent is. James gone. Either of the girls should have left. I'm done for this year. I'll watch The Voice instead.

Obviously country music fans have tuned and have shown up with the votes this year. Consider that Scotty and Lauren likely split votes from that demographic. This contest is going to boil down to one of those two, undeservedly so IMO.
The deal with Scotty is not just that he sings country, but how he just has that one (doing my best Elvis impersonation) "Thank You Very Much" tone. He is a one trick pony!!! As James said as he left the stage, he's done stuff nobody has ever done in the history of the show. He is a much better singer and all around performer.
As for Lauren, as I said earlier, she is nothing special. There are literally thousands of these blond haired blue eyed country girls who can sing as well as she does all over the country. They haven't made it big, but they are singing at the local level, maybe even have an album or two that has been cut. Some of them are still in college or even in high school. The purpose of this show I thought was to find the next superstar. She is not a superstar IMO.

She has lost alot of weight since coming on the show. Sure looks like she is losing all of her baby fat. My fiancé thinks she is prettier then Haley.

James's last song has night was horrible. At times he sounds no better than a guy screaming at the top of his lungs. You couldnt even understand a word or two. Now for they crying, it was OK the first time he became emotional, but it doesnt work when you do it every damn week.!!!
