Btw, I did not watch AI last night (I am on the road for business) but I watched Haley's "House of the Rising Sun" on youtube. It sent chills up my spine. That girl is amazing (and HOT).

So glad Jacob is gone.

Haley's version of House of the Rising Sun was great. I also liked her version of Bennie and the Jets a few weeks ago. Top 4 should be interesting.

I cannot see what the judges see in Lauren...week after week she gets a free pass.

Haley wins the title for best and worst songs of the nite.
James continues to seperate himself from the pack.
Lauren....time to send the 16 year old home.

I think this will be a hard cut. I definitely think it oughta be Lauren goimg home. I can see what people like about her, but she does nothing for me. She has a good voice and is likable ..but kind of a Kris Allen persona. The other three are much more electric...and I'll include Scotty in there when he leaves out the sleepy, twangy stuff. Haley's first number was not that good and could leave her vulnerable, even though her second song was the best of the night. I think one of the girls will be going home tonite.

Durbin has to be the favorite, even if you don't like him you should be able to see his appeal to others and his over the top showmanship. History shows, that is not always the best that wins.

Lady Gaga tried to pull off Daryl Hannah's look from the movie Bladerunner last night. WTF was that?? Of course, with Gaga that is what you come to expect. I think she scared the bejeezus out of Scotty who probably up to the past few months barely left his small town.

James was the best overall last night. I rocked the Journey hit as well as can be done. As Randy said the degree of difficulty is off the chart. Scotty is a one trick pony, but a large part of America loves that one trick. Lauren reminds me of a country version of Jordin Sparks. All style but no substance at this point. Frankly, I think there are thousands of blond haired girls out there from the sticks who can do what she does. As Hits noted, Haley rocked the house with her second song. The first is just the wrong song for her. I would love to see her try to sing a little Bonnie Tyler or something. If she makes it to the next round she should go there.

I think Lauren should go, but somehow I think she will be safe and Haley will get the chopping block. It will pit James against the two country kids.

Scotty is an okay country singer but is boring and as each week goes by his cockiness is growing.
I think he probably is a very good country singer, but his attitude and cockiness just completely turns me off. In 10 season of AI, I have never loathed anyone enough to fast forward their performances (and that includes Taylor Hicks!) but I can't even watch him. The smirks, the ridiculous way he holds the microphone, the fact that ALLLL he can sing is country - I pray it's him that goes home tonight but I fear it won't be. I mean seriously, "it's disco night!" Scotty sings a country song. "It's Beatles week!" Scotty sings country. Urgggghhhhh

When you look at the 4 remaing who the money maker?

I like Haiey and that Bluey type style ...
Lauran good country and some range to do other style but she not a Underwood...
Scotty pure country and knows it
James is talented and has the voice to do many different styles of music
