Very disappointing so far.

Heard on WLW this morning........that there was a study done on 10,000 MLB games.......and AVG skyrocket on cloudy days......

Reds starting pitching has been abysmal. Hard to win when you are down 5 runs a few innings into the game

Gomes sucks. Seriously stop playing him so much, or at the very least move him down in the order.

Votto was boneheaded for trying to steal that base towards the middle of the game, and then was waaay too overanxious in his final two ABs. I can give him a pass though, he and Phillips are the only guys who seem to produce night in and night out.

Votto can do whatever the hell he wants for all I care..one of a very small amount of players on the Reds doing anything this year

Game 2 has been quite a show offensively...thank goodness Chris Valaika hit a triple. The Reds ONLY freaking hit...

Stubbs walks to lead off the 9th..a 9th inning rally is EXACTLY what this club needs.

No. Both runs were off Wood in the third. Cordero did give up a double to Barmes, but then got Towles out to end the inning without any runs surrendered.

It was 2-0. Coco allowed a double but got out of it. The Astros had 2 RBI singles off of Wood in the top of the 3rd. Otherwise Travis pitched great...but got no support.

It's starting to feel like this year is the opposite of last year. Instead of the offense picking up the pitching, or vice versa, when one caves this year, the other isn't responding. The Reds are finding new ways to lose games this year instead of win them. It's either no scoring or horrible pitching.

A good swing in this situation last night and the game could have gotten interesting. In this situation, it's the game.

Bruce hasn't made contact in 3 games. Does BP bunt? Lyon is pretty awful...

If the combination of Bruce, Hanigan and Janish can't get one more run across the plate against a pitcher who's given up a walk and three straight hits without retiring anyone...those guys need a public flogging to send a message.

Haha game!

That was so awesome

Go 8 innings with 1 (god damn) hit...then 5 straight reach base in the 9th scoring 3 runs without even recording an out

And it happens while I typed that. No public floggings today, I guess.

Yeah you gotta love 1 hit through 8 and then 4 hits and 3 runs without even surrendering an out in the 9th...what a crazy sport.

Hopefully this wakes them up! Last time the were below .500, they reeled off 9 wins in the next 10 games!
