If that really is him, he never looked better.
How in the world did they keep this under wraps for a whole week? Usually someone leaks a story like this.
If it's true that it was a special ops mission that got him, major kudos to those guys. Whoever took the kill shot should never have to buy another drink for the rest of his life.

Well, this is a pretty dicey statement. If Bin Laden is killed in Pakistan by the CIA it's a very delicate matter. Pakistan now saying it was some sort of joint, highly clandestine operation (so that helps, which is good).

According to news radio, he was killed sometime last week in pakistan and was/will be buried at sea.

Yeah, sure seemed like it. They were talking on one of the station that at some point you think pictures will be released as more of a closure/confirmation type thing. Maybe a smart decision. You don't need a grave becoming some sort of radical shrine. On the other hand, it could have been almost like those sting operations they do where police set-up an illegal pawn shop for stolen goods.

While I understand the point, I don't agree with it or think it's particularly productive. We should be better than that. We aren't, but we should be. He's a dead terrorist. He doesn't deserve any such memorial, unintended or not.
