I understand the "rather be playing with them than against them," and that is in my opinion the position most Ohio State fans have taken lately, but it's just wrong. Let Texas and Oklahoma be the schools with 39% graduation rates because they are filled to the brim with thugs. Ohio State deserves players with more character.

Also, I'm 100% for the legalization of marijuana, and am only saddened by the fact that he's done this three times now. Florida (SEC) just kicked their best player off the team for it, yet we don't?

I also don't think it'd be as big of an issue if Tressel were to just make an example of one of them from time to time. Sure, you recruit thugs, but just kick one off the team from time to time. Tressel is a very smart man, he knows who is doing shit. I don't think it's that hard to not get busted for weed three times, especially considering all of the other things---errr, women (but they are regarded as things by the players), you can do for fun.
