Tebow and Ponder are here because neither were predicted to be drafted so high, let alone in the first round.

People like Couch, Leaf etc were all expected to be high profile, early first round draft picks....they just didn't work out.

They would have been taken early regardless of the team....Ponder and Tebow would NEVER have been first round picks had the Vikes and Broncos respectfully passed on them...NOBODY remaining in Round 1 would have taken EITHER OF THEM.

So to mention Couch, Leaf, Russell or anyone else who was expected to be taken high to begin with, is really ludicrous IMO.

Ty thinks the Ponder selection was stellar. There's a minuscule chance he's correct -- but it's more likely just further evidence of his total lack of football acumen.

This is what I figured was the case. Not that he was actually Corky from "Life Goes On." Calling him "Downs" if that were the case would be just downright mean, even for this crew.

No he's definately NOT Corky from Life Goes On.....he just LOOKS like Corky from Life Goes On... :)

Plus I'm pretty sure Corky doesn't wanna blow #15 so the comparison stops at the looks :)

With the amount of offensive talent around him....he has a very very good chance to be a pretty good NFL QB
