AMAZING HOMER. What a way to end a game.

CLEVELAND INDIANS.... 5.5 games up in the division with a day to go in April. Holy cow.

LOL, Grady's reaction as soon as Carlos hit it was priceless.. Arms straight up in the air and turned to admire it.

Who would have thought that Carlos Santana would take part in a triple play before he hit a grand slam?

Great time to be an Indians fan Go Tribe!!!!

He was asked last night if he would manage again, and he said he was getting the itch to...but wanted to go to a contender......he also said he loves it here and his role with the Indians.

Is it still early? haha This tribe team is the real deal....and what is impressing me is that it's different people coming up big every single night and our young pitchers are doing the job.

Someone above said it reminded them of the 90's. Well, I can tell you first hand....that's exactly what it was like!. It was electric. Had to be one of my favorite games I've ever attended. I know one thing. I'm going to make the 2 hour drive again. It's gonna be a fun summer.

I'm heading over tomorrow... Not quite a 2 hour drive for me, unless you're counting round trip.

Just rewatched the walkoff on Indians.com. The thing that jumped out to me was after Santana crossed the plate they focused on the Tigers going into the dugout. Moon Pie had this "shit...I could have been part of that" look on his face but then it looked like he got distracted and lost his train of thought. There was a box of donuts sitting on the dugout step.

Perhaps the most stunning stat of all. Cleveland Indians. Established 1901 and the 2011 team has the most wins in April ALL-TIME? I don't even think in any of our wildest dreams any of us thought that this would be a record setting month. I think even the most optimistic thought that hanging around .500 and hanging around in the division would be a good month and majority (self included) thought that it was going to be a rough one. In fact, down 10 runs opening day, my FB status was something about "Get em next year boys. When's football start?" Well, pleasantly surprised is an understatement. I believe RoyalK said something about the yard reminding him of the late 90's in terms of electricity. That may be a bit of a stretch, since there were still only something like 16k at park yesterday, but I think that there may be some of that 'magic' there this year. And if this continues, attendance will pickup and 45k are a whole lot more electric than 16. Finally, for the first time since 2007, it may actually be Tribe Time NOW.

Yeah, you can't compare 16000 to 45000. But when Santana hit the HR, you would have thought the place was sold out.

And you're right. It won't be long till the big crowds are back.
