Dennis Martinez

Orel Hershiser

Chad Ogea

Story: when OJ was on his infamous "Bronco chase", the Indians players in the clubhouse were riveted to the TV. Manny R. walked in and wondered what was going on. A player said "we are watching OJ on the run". Manny said, "What did Chad do?".

Good call on this trio BRF. In the same era....Barry Latman, "Baby Huego", and Chico Salmon.

You have me at a loss on "Baby Huego", Footwedge. Who was he? Now, Chico Salmon*, that's a good one. "The Panamanian Wonder"....so fast that he could hit the light switch and jump in bed before the bulb went out!

Joe Adcock
Jimmy Piersall
And........one I am surprised no one has used yet that BRF is proud to post....Rocky Colavito!!!! Don't Knock The Rock! :-)

*for the young pups, his name was not pronounced like the fish, it was "Sam-own".

Baby Heugo's name was Bob Chance who came up and pounded the ball his rookie season. He was only with us a couple of years though. He played first base....platooning with "Wingy".

Great call on Gaylord. I remember Charlie Spikes' infamous gaffe ruining "the Lord's" winning streak at 17 games when he muffed a fly ball off the bat of Claudell Washington againstt the World Champion A's.

Wow...Jimmy Piersol. I watched him steal home one day....and then he went into his crazy mode all the way back to the dugout.

Offensive foul called on Gardens35!

You truly are one of the greatest instigators of all time! You should be one of those Spaniard guys that pokes the little spears in the bull to get it going! ;-)
