Yeah!!!! I love it when doggies find their way back home.
Now learn a lesson and keep him locked up tight when it storms.

Good to hear he's back and safe. Someone around us lost a mini pincher last night. There was a girl driving around with him in her car asking anyone who was out in front of their house if they knew someone that lost a minpin. Hopefully she found his owners.

Congrats on getting him back quickly and safely. If I lost a pet like that, that's all I'd be hoping for.

Now comes the important part. You gotta teach him not to do this again. Just stand right in his face and scream:
"DON'T FUCKING DO THAT SHIT YOU FUCKING DOG"
Then don't feed him the rest of the day.
Problem solved.

I'm one step ahead of you on plans. I'm getting a much meaner, better trained dog (who will stay in the yard) to wait outside of the underground fence. If my dog goes out of boundaries, the newer dog will eat him.

I think I'd ask for a refund on that underground fence.

It works just fine. He just ran through it. Plus, it was given to me, for free

Maybe it's an underground fence designed to prevent slaves from using the Underground Railroad to reach freedom, instead of to keep dogs where they should be.

Couldn't you just beat it a few times? I'm sure it won't come back after that.

'Freedom trains of all sizes contained with 99.4% effectiveness!'
Glad to hear the dog was recovered.

Praying for a missing dog is stupid. Much like praying for anything.

Glad you found your dog, ETB! That's a horrible feeling when they go missing.

Now, ya know, that was quite a topic a long time ago that involved Zwickie!
AND....praying for a dog, "much like praying for anything", is a good thing.

Glad you found your dog... I used to be anti-animal until I met my current girlfriend and her two dogs. We now have 3 dogs and little Brewster (was originally named Brutus... Go Buckeyes!) and Brewster is my dog. He sees me as his master and follows me even to the bathroom. I could not fathom losing him... I would search non stop till I found him if he became lost. Dogs do manage to find their way home though... Notice your dog went to where he felt comfortable which was your old house. If you ever loose your dog again, think like a dog and go to its favorite place.

I think I found it in Van Wert. Had "Ernest T Bass' Dog" on the collar, so I think it has to be your pup. The one that came home to you is probably the wrong one.
