I was curious about the game, as before Browns games soccer games would be on with a decent soccer crowd at the Browns backers bar, got interested a bit in the sport so I like to keep up with it mildly by reading the few soccer threads oin the boards. Wouldn't say I'm a big soccer fan but enjoy reading about it from time to time.

Quick tip for you. If you don't like the topic...stay the fuck out.

Looks like its going into the half at 0-0. Typical Barca....with 76% of possession.

Quick tip for you, if you would take a loaded gun, point it to your head and pull the trigger, the world would be a better place.

Barcelona tries to score the "great" goal instead of just finishing a decent goal. You always seem to think they'd have 5 or 6 goals, but no they have 0.

Like playing my buddy in Madden, always going for the hail mary TD pass.

Giant net + Little Ball = Zero Goals. Makes no sense to me totally agree soccer should have min 5 to 6 goals a game (per team)

No idea. I think I remember the semifinals last year being on FX but I could be wrong about that.

If it doesn't make sense then you are obviously very very stupid.

I love Barcelona and Spain's style of play. Break you down by holding the ball and amazing passing. A lot of people gave Spain shit for not scoring much in the WC, but for the most part they dominated.

Last years finals where on FX. They got great ratings, so they put 1 semi on FX and the other on FSC this year (flip games next week) and I think the final is on FX, though I heard because of the ratings, they were thinking about putting it on FOX. I doubt that happens though.

As or the game, couldnt have asked for anything better for Barca. They will be very content with a tie 0-0, and they have had some chances to break through.

Soccer is actually a really tight sport to follow. So many different tournaments and trophies, so many awesome rivalries, great league and tournament structures, richest people in the world own the teams, games are on in the mornings/afternoons, premier league review show sunday nights, champions league, smoking hot euro wives, and my personal favorite...british announcers' accents are the perfect hangover remedy on saturday and sunday mornings.

It's also really hilarious to think that a lot of the players are racists or fascists haha could you imagine watching a lions/bears game and hear the announcer go "left tackle, john smith, fascist"

A standard goal is 8 feet tall and 24 feet wide (192 sq. feet) with lets say a 6 foot goalie (36 sq feet if we count wing span). A standard ball is roughly 8 inches wide and you're calling me dumb for these players not being able to score? smh. Again, giant goal, small ball and a goalie that doesn't take up much space, pretty sad to see 0-0 ties from these "athletes"
