The eucalyptus will basically be dried, not fresh; however, it still puts out a fairly strong aroma.
As for vanilla (oil, not the stuff for baking) you can find that at alot of drug stores - along with other oils like clove. I know you can buy eucalyptus oil but can't remember where I saw it, sorry!
