In some ways similar to the West Virginia-Notre Dame game when Major Harris got hurt early. He played hurt but wasn't close to 100 percent and the game was pretty much over.

Lee Corso is pissed right now.

I dont know why anybody in the world is surprised about this.

Yes I know that McCoy got knocked out, but this is the same D that shut Florida down and dominated that game.

the sec *muscle* is why colt is out in the first place.

with that said, bama is the far superior team.

only way this is close would be a bunch of fluke turnovers.

It would be a different game with Colt in there, that is true. But would Bama be less donimating? Hard to tell! It seems even now with each team winning one quarter by shut-out! (LOL)

By far the two most bonehead plays have been by Bama, resulting in all the points by Texas. Texas is behind the 8 ball. Do you want them going down trying(shovel pass) or taking a knee and not trying to make something happen? That was not even close to the boneheadedness of those two Bama mistakes!

No offense for Texas means the defense is on the field way too much.

Which there were at the beginning of the game. Texas didn't capitalize and the door shut REALLY quick when McCoy went out.

Corso needs to retire pretty soon.

Sadly.

He had the stroke and is struggling.

Just watched it again...he either got some dental work and is still numb or he's "medicated." Hope he's not having stroke or something.

You all are probably right. Texas played the first qtr on adrenaline, bama was nervous and screwed up. The game is 60 minutes and bama is the better team. Their calm now and have a huge lead. I don't see them coming back with or without McCoy.

This is karma for Texas. I'm not sure how but my roommate keeps saying it. I'm guessing it has something to do with the Big XII championship game.

Not yet, but it is definitely rivaling USC/Oklahoma and Ohio State/Florida.

So it wasn't me then. He was having a problem?

Did he really have a stroke in the past?

Texas probably should have not won vs Nebraska.
Could you imagine Bama vs Cincy, Boise State, or TCU

No colt McCoy Injury... they go down the field 7-0.

After a bonehead play on the kickoff... they get at least a field goal if not a TD on the short field Texas 14-0. Bama gets away from the running game and Texas's defense keeps its edge. This game would have been completely different. It would be 14-14 at worst for texas if he didn't get injured.

Corso had a stroke after last season I believe.

That's why they use Desmond a lot more now and Corso in certain spots.

Gilbert made a good throw that should have been a TD, that with a two point conversion, would have tied it at 14, but it was dropped.

Corso sounded like he had another stroke this morning. He hasn't sounded 100% crisp this year because of it, but overall he had recovered quite well.

He was like Dick Clark bad tonight.
