I'll admit I was one that said leave Santana alone. But my thinking was moving him might ruin whatever confidence he has left. At this point, I think it would not only be good for the team, but good for him as well. It may take some pressure off and let him relax some. He is definitely lost right now.

that was the biggest paradox for me. right now, with how poorly cabrera has been hitting in the sixth hole, brantley is basically restarting the lineup and being the table-setter for laporta and hannahan in the seventh hole. i could go either way, it just seems more awkward to ask brantley to be the rbi-producer for santana than it does to ask hannahan to do it.

oh and nice job on getting out of the inning, sipp. going to need you for the eighth with cabrera and gordon looming
