I understand and agree....I still feel Bruce did not know the positioning of the SS before that pitch.

Sure, that's right. Got to always be thinking and checking things before each pitch. Sometimes sharp managers play the infield back and then move them in when they get two strikes, but in Bruce's situation they weren't going to come in.
