Fausto (1-2) takes on Duensing(1-0)

It would be nice to bury the Twins early.

In 19 games the Tribe has scored 99 runs.
The Twins in 19 games have scored 57.

Tribe ERA 3.35
Twins ERA 4.55

Curious to see how many right handed bats Manny has in the line up tonight, going against a LH pitcher.

I like the match-ups this series. Though, Pavano is very crafty and he goes against Gomez. Liriano is their Ace, but hasnt pitched well in forever, and the Tribe seems to have good success/approach versus him.

You needed a break. It's cool that an elder statesman started it. In fact, I was thinking about starting it, too. Go Tribe!

As an Orrville Guy this statement disappointed me...you guys are the biggest Homer's ever. Picking the Twins goes against your nature.

BRF you better get your boy in check.

He's a big boy and will make it right on his own. So, we are "the biggest Homer's ever"? That's rich.

Go Tribe! BRF wants at least 2 Glittering Wahoos on this thread....from one of the biggest Homers of all time!!!!

I don't know if anyone heard this, but Chad Huffman hit 3 HR and drove in 10 last night for the Clippers. He was close to making the team out of spring training.

Didn't mean to step on anyone's toes;)

I've been kind of AWOL from the Tribe threads as daughterHits#2 senior season on the softball diamond has preoccupied me.
I was just hanging around the board and noticed the series' thread hadn't been opened...kinda figured it might have been my turn!

well, that was exactly what I was afraid of would happen, although I never would have thought it would have come from Orrville! Usually, the guys from there are pretty stand up fellas....not the sort to root for a team like the Twins. Don't tell me you like Skippy peanut butter instead of Jif, Welch's grape jelly instead of Smucker's, and Maxwell house coffee, instead of Folger's too. Here in Wayne County we eat Hungry Jack pancakes, not Aunt Jemima.....and we root for local teams.
Get with it riders1`

I was wondering about the weather up there, and then thinking about how it wouldn't HAVE mattered with the old place. Game cancelled! I miss the old "baggy" in right field, btw.

Lol, Hits I was just giving you a hard time....It's your turn pal! :D

BRF...I miss the Metrodome too. I actually got to play there my freshman year at Malone for the NCCAA (National Christian College) championship. It was a neat experience even though the crowd was less than 500 haha!! Our lockerroom was the one the Vikings used and we got to go in the Twins' dugout....very cool opportunity!

Ringz, Being a "Homer" means you have confidence and loyalty to the hometown team....nothing is wrong with that. We just have a little more "Swag" over here in Smuckertown :D Haha

Yeah I know what a Homer is that is why I was confused by Rider1's statement about the Twins winning 2of3. Not your typical jelly city type of talk. The Riceland air must be getting to him there at the last house before Golden Bear Country.

You lost the last game vs the Royals so Hits moved you down in the order. We expect consistent performance, damn it. It was unacceptable.

I'm just joking with ya, I like your win em all attitude. Serious question, as someone who played in the Baggy, how difficult is it really to pick up fly balls?

Just reality, never grew up feeling down every year with the "June swoon Indians" so many more happier days rooting for the other guys and there were sooooooooo many more losses than wins by the Indians, so a much happier childhood, and only a couple blips during the 90's. Besides there aren't any Twins fans on here so someone has to root for the "good guys", to keep your blood pressure up until football. haha

And what's a stillers fan know anyway, put your babushka back on and crawl back in your hole.
