The Reds were 4 games back at this point last year. I'm so sick of hearing all of the "world ending" shit everywhere.
Yup. Reading #Reds hashtags on twitter is hilarious. People are flipping their shit.

Seems like reds pitchers give up about 12 home runs per game.

Dude, there's only 145 games left after this one, no way that get it turned around in that short amount of time. Best to start panicking now!

Stubbsy with a lead off walk, stolen base, and goes to 3rd on the throwing error. BP with a bloop into right and it's 5-4.

Another frustrating game. Guys aren't hitting and the pitching just hasn't been good enough

I know it is early in the season, but it's still frustrating. Frustrating because the Reds had a favorable schedule to open up the season and haven't really taken advantage of it. 1-3 vs Arizona is a shame. Sure, they are improved but they're not suddenly some juggernaut. It's basically the same team from last year's terrible squad. 1-3 vs Pittsburgh @ home is also hard to live with.

Pirates swept them in the first series last year, FWIW.
I won't worry until the rotation is completely healthy and this shit is still happening. Then, we need to be concerned. The Brewers aren't going away like the Cardinals did last year.

Is it still possible for us to get home field advantage in the playoffs?

But that was at Pittsburgh, correct? Just losing 3 of 4 to Pittsburgh at home rubs me the wrong way. Aside from Game 2, the Pirates just devoured Reds pitching. Which might not be alarming in some instances, but it is to me seeing as how it was Arroyo, Volquez, and Wood.

Gomes 9th inning lead-off HBP may have messed him up. He is not in tonight's starting line-up. I remember thinking "broken hand" when I saw it happen live.
