Quite embarrassing for both Leake and the Reds, but it doesn't warrant him being cut. Now if this becomes a repeat problem, then dump his ass.

Perhaps he's a kleptomaniac or something.

He won't be cut. This just made their decision on who to send down much much simpler. Never would have guessed Mike Leake would steal. Also never guessed that if he did, he would steal $60 worth of merchandise.

Well he didn't actually steal them, although he got booked for it. Bottom line, don't be best friends with criminals and you won't feel the need to take the fall for their stupid shit. I know you know who I'm talking about too lol

As a side note, the only good thing that came out of that whole memorabilia scandal is that it put my mind at ease that OSU players probably aren't getting paid. If players are having to sell their rings for 2k, then I doubt they are getting the $500 handshakes that I think have become the custom at some programs.
