So, with Cueto and Bailey soon to be back, does this mean Leake pretty much assured himself of being the first of two starters sent to AAA? His on-mound performances hadn't been that great and an incident like this can add the "needs to work on maturity for a bit" justification.

I think so, although he's been pretty good on the mound 2 of his 3 starts.

True. I just noticed it was two good and one really bad start. Guess the only negative you could say about the good ones is that he only went six innings.

But with how good the starters have overall been (with the exception of every first inning pitched by Edinson), you'd have to think he might have made a tough decision easier by being a tard.

From the current AP article, for all who want to know what Mike Leake wanted SO bad that he got busted to attempt obtaining.
Police arrest reports said Leake removed the price tags from six American Rag shirts at a Macy’s store and tried to leave without paying for them.

Hopefully, it will come out that he was going for something really ghey like this. Because when something brings the lulz, you might as well turn it up to 11.

Seriously? 60 bucks? You think he could scrounge that up by looking in between his couch seat cushions,

Or as I said earlier, the change in his car.

I sincerely hope that the Reds cut him.

That thought never even ran through my mind when I heard he stole some t shirts worth 60 dollars.

Taking a $2,000 ring from a jewelry store? Okay yeah..but 60 bucks? lol

I wouldn't go that far, he's been pretty solid. Even in his shitty start, he at least went six innings. Sent down to AAA maybe, maybe even AA just to make a point - but cut? I highly doubt that.

Wildcats, that's even a more retarded move then stealing tshirts. Cut him?? Haha stupid.

It's $60. It's stupid, but ppl do this everyday and walk away with practically nothing.
