I ended up going with a Droid Charge in July and don't regret it. Flashed it to upgrade to de-bloated Gingerbread (from Froyo) and it runs pretty well. 4G is great in the city.

We really wish Samsung would adopt stronger materials in its flagship devices, such as metals and soft-touch rubberized plastic. Still, the phone easily zips through Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) and Samsung’s custom TouchWiz user interface. I don't think Sprint can afford to offer phones for anything over $199 at this point. With the credit policies they have, most of their customers would not pay $250 or $299 for a phone.OneBuckeye;878177 wrote:Damn 199.99 good price

my evo wont connect to my computer all of the sudden ...cant figure out why..i re downloaded the htc software, i updated drivers...the only thing that was different was when i renewed my norton subscription. after that mozilla quit working and i had to reload it and now my phone wont connect..it keeps saying usb device not recognized any tips?

ah they have access codes that are released. You enter those codes in and something about the phone is revealed. They also released a scavenger hunt app today where people will have to follow clues and then the first person to the spot finds a free Bionic. If you look on that site for the Charge, one of them was hidden inside Skully's in Columbus.

Agree, I just want to see reviews and pricing and some hands on time in the store to see if I want to purchase. I agree 100%. Apple does a hell of a job doing this with their commercials. Which is probably why nobody else does it. But in Motorola/Verizon's defense...that's a teaser ad. So you're not going to see the phone at all until it launches or right before.

What made that worse was it still had bits of George Lopez in there. Fucking terrible! I really did not like the commercial I mean at least show the phone.
