Forearm shiver to Barea's head after foul had ready been called on Odom with about 20 seconds to go.

With the game over, like under 30 seconds left and a 15 point game. Barrea gets fouled by Odom(nothing big just grabbed him around the waist u know, the usual) And Artest comes in and clotheslines/ forearms Barrea in the face and gets ejected for it.

The Lakers don't care yet. If they won game 2, no one would watch the rest of the series, because it would be over.

I'd love to see the Lakers get knocked out, but I am being extremely cautious and don't want to jinx the situation. If there were ever a team capable of gagging away this series, its the Mavericks

Not anymore. These Mavs are different. The past 7 years they haven't had a legit inside presence to take the pressure off Dirk defensively, but now they have Chandler who is an absolute stalwart down low defensively and allows Dirk to focus on offense and honestly Dirk has the ability to score whenever he wants and is probably the most skilled 4 in the league. He would get a lot more love than he gets if he was American and not foreign.

Its not over until its over, may not look good right now but never underestimate the heart of a champion, at least thats what Rudy T says.

This made me LOL and I'm an OSU fan..

@ESPN_Colin
Colin Cowherd
Imagine if OSU football ran the NBA. Artest would only be suspended for first game of next year

I'm guessing this was all part of Phil's plan. They will turn it up in Dallas.

That might be a legitimate question for a team that hasn't been to 3 straight Finals and winning 2 of them back to back.
Haters will hate, I can deal with it.

No, it is a serious question for you. Didn't you say they would turn it on when it would bring the most interest to the playoffs? When will that be?

"Phil and the Lakers are just helping the NBA out by keeping interest in a NBA Playoffs. If the Lakers win Game 1 we all its over and no one will watch.
The ratings were off the charts for the 1st round so it obviously worked."

Where does it say anything about turning it on?

One would think after reading that statement that they would "turn it on" after they dropped 1 or 2....you know...to keep interest.

No, actually it was written because Phil Jackson is 48-0 (winning the series) when he wins the first game of a Playoff series and Karen lotz's post about the record ratings for the 1st round of the playoffs.

I'm impressed the Mavs haven't even had to play a 3D Zone yet.

Are you serious? The Lakers have played with ZERO heart this year. They play shitty ball and rely on their size advantage to make up for it, and it's something Dallas can trump by putting Chandler on Bynum and Dirk on Pau.

Wow, Dallas just came back from down 85-75(I think, wasn't paying too much attention) with like 5 minutes to play and now look like they'll win game 3. Dallas just shot lights out.

Again, where was Kobe in the 4th? Biggest two possessions he passes to Odom without even looking at getting a shot off?

Well, we see Dallas can hit the open 3s. The question is, does LA not have TVs, cause they clearly arent seeing what we are.
