Celtics are falling apart (collapsing?) physically. Pierce, Rondo, and Allen all got dinged a bit tonight. Series will still go 6 or 7 games though.

I think Boston takes games 3 and 4 at home. Still think that series is going 7

Hopefully Bron goes down with a career ender sometime in the next couple games

Time for Memphis to see if they can get another one, although I think OKC bounces back by 12 or so. But I'll take a split.

Trading Kendrick Perkins has to be the dumbest move of the year no doubt.

Don't know how they can justify it. Even if they say it was because they couldn't resign him it doesn't make sense to weaken your team like that when you are on a shortlist of title contenders. Beyond stupid.

ESPECIALLY when your team is on the verge of needing blown up. Boston has 1, MAYBE 2 years left.

OKC bounces back tonight

I like this Memphis team. Conley is turning into a solid player and Gasol is earning himself a serious paycheck in the near future

Ok fine, I dont want to see Bron suffer a career ending injury.......just a season ending

"Kidd grabbed his hips before he got to Pau yes."

I'm pretty sure thats a foul but who cares thats what you get in the NBA, consistent inconsistentcy.

Thats not the part of the play that most Lakers fans were irate about. But I agree it was a foul

Robin err I mean Lebron played pretty well last night. It appears as if this series is going no more than 5 games (tops).

The Heat are dangerous

Obviously, LBJ and D-Wade are the best players in the Boston-Miami series. The Heat now look like the team to beat. Joel Anthony gives them a strong defensive presence in the paint, Chalmers can defend on the perimeter, and LBJ/D-Wade can carry the scoring load when Bosh disappears.

The Heat are playing with a purpose and a focus that was not evident during the regular season.

i still think it goes 7. if it only lasts 5, we might have to bump that celtics collapse thread...even though its only a year late lol

I actually thought about doing that. The team seems like it is about to explode. KG might kill somebody if they get knocked out of the playoffs in the 2nd round.

The playoffs have been great thus far, and will only get better. I'm very pleased with my Heat having a 2-0 lead. But hey, that's what you're supposed to do-- win home games. I'm quite confident in this series, but like they say, it's not a series until the away team wins. I will not count the eggs before they're hatched. I've seen too much from these Boston guys to do so. But Miami is becoming the machine Pat envisioned. I always expected the Big 3 to eventually play well. I respected LBJ and Wade's game too much to doubt them gelling on the court. Bosh is too good of a player not to eventually get it. I knew he'd go through a Pau Gasol type of transition when it came to grit and defense, but he's starting to look like he's ahead of schedule. He has had KG's number these first two games-- and that is impressive. I always believed in Anthony and knew he would do this. He started slow, but the Warden is taking his respect these first 7 games. Chalmers has impressed me lately. I think he can be a solid starter/contributer for the right team, and this is that team. He's got that free flowin' personality to mesh very well with 3 superstars. LB J has been very influential this year to him. He told him he's going to have to shoot it until they fall-- and lately, they have been. There is a long journey ahead, but this series continues to raise their confidence-- and that might be too much for any NBA team to handle.

This. Lakers were a joke tonight. 69 points with 4 minute left in the 4th? Joke

I figured it would be Fisher who took the first cheap shot at Barea. Seems like that is his go to move.
