I keep seeing a commercial that the Toledo area is the first city in the country to receive the Dorito Shell tacos. I tried one the other day, and it wasn't too bad.

I'm just curious if this is some kind of gimmick, or is Toledo really the first city to get these. Has anyone else around the state/country seen these yet?

I agree that they sound delicious. I haven't eaten at Taco Bell in a long time, I will be heading there at first sight of these Dorito shells!

hmmm, haven't had Taco Bell in a long time but this might be worth a trip. Is it all Toledo locations? The Toledo area, including Perrysburg, Maumee, etc?

Perrysburg does have them. My kids went there the other day.

Rider already responded, but I agree that if it's in Genoa, it's probably in PB, Maumee, Sylvania....

You go to hell! Genoa is great! :D

The Toledo area is often one of the "testing areas" for fastfood restaurants though. I once read Toledo has the most per capita. We love our shitty food! :)

Hasn't arrived in my area yet. Hope they do. I don't eat much fast food anymore but I would try it.

I'm sorry you feel that way.

Any reason? I remember when that first turned into a Taco Bell from a Rax back in the day. I was so excited because it was the closets Taco Bell to St. Marys until we go one.

Bascially just to update it i guess.

It was close one day.......started demo within a few days...and already almost built. Fastest turnaround I have seen. They could have least put on the sign 'closed, rebuilding to open soon' or what not but they didnt. Had to go word of mouth

I miss Rax. I used to work at the one in New Bremen when I was in HS. Way better than Arbys

Rax was the GOAT.

As for the Dorito taco:
