I see that Deliverance is on AMC right now. The scene where Ned Beatty gets ridden like a farm animal was perhaps the most disturbing scene I ever watched at the movies "Squeal like a pig, boy". When I first saw it I was like 8-9 years old (yes, I know I shouldn't have been watching). The movie haunted me for years.

Anyone else have any movie scenes that they found to be totally disturbing?

When I read the thread title and before I opened the thread, Deliverance was the first scene I thought of. The curb stomp scene from ......... I can't remember the name of the movie... that was also disturbing.

I agree with Deliverance and Casino.

The rape scene in The Accused is pretty awful

I've never seen Deliverance, but it just started again on AMC. Is it worth watching? I do know about the "squeal like a pig" thing, had a roommate in college who thought that was the funniest thing ever.

Karen: I think it's a pretty good movie in itself but of course that is the scene that made if famous!

I rafted that river a few years ago and we had this guy as our guide who was a bit on the religious side (man he drew the wrong group but we actually loosened him up a bit no pun intended on this thread) and we got to the spot on the river where that scene took place. The guide tucked his head, you could tell he didn't want to say it, and said there's where the sodomy scene took place. That river has some killer rapids on it too!! It's the Chatooga River in Georgia.

That's fine with me. I, unlike most of the OC, don't care if I don't see some guy getting fucked in the ass while squealing like a pig.

yes, I literally could not watch that.

There is also a foreign movie out that I heard is more fucked up than the human centipede.

The Shining was another movie that scared the hell out of me as a kid. Like cc, Room 237 scared the bejesus out of me.

I read the book after I watched the movie. When you read the back story to the room, it makes it even more scary IMO.

You get the jist by watching the movie on AMC. You hear Ned Beatty grunting in the background and you see the hillbilly pulling his pants up as Jon Voight looks away in horror. The next sequence is pretty funny now the other hillbilly looks over at Voight (Angelina Jolie's dad) and comments about his "purty mouth".

Basically the guy gets drugged and has to rape his kids and fuck his dead wife. There has never been a more appropriate description then "what has been seen cannot be unseen."

What happens that makes it so brutal?

Also Hillary Swank's sex scene in Boys Don't Cry was pretty disturbing. Also when she got raped it was disturbing.
