I loved the Philly fans tonight. The Flyers lose 1-0 to another impressive Ryan Miller performance and the fans boo the home team. Those folks don't deserve a winner.

The SJ/LAK OT game last night was insane. Pavelski had to beat Quick with a perfect shot which he did.

I missed that one...was too busy shaking my head at boston for not getting bodies in from of Price and making him work harder. He didn't have to struggle at all on those 31 shots. Also thought thomas gave up two soft goals. That turnover by Lucic was terrible.

Boston just looked lethargic through out the game.
The one chance they had to tie the game, they blew it when Marchand whiffed the puck on an open net.
Price was able to see the puck all game. To beat him, they need to get bodies to the front of the net.

No kidding. Montreal wasn't even trying to play offense the last 8 minutes of the game and Boston couldn't do squat with the puck. They were sleep walking for the majority of the game. I won't be surprised if they come out in game 2 and win big, but it was a crappy way to start for the B's.

From last night, other than the Caps doing what they always do, winning a close game, and the Pens collapsing on defense, we saw some good West conference hockey.
The Canucks looked legit as contenders and should win that series in 5 or 6.
The Ducks finally got the offense going, with some great PP chances and Emery was solid in net. I still think that series goes 7, with the winner a toss up.
The Coyotes and Wings are about to start soon on NBC.
