How can you say he's not in the discussion? I agree Rose is best. But Rondo is without a doubt a better defensive player than Westbrook. TWENTY-THREE of the the head coaches in the NBA voted him as the best defensive guard in the league last year, and four voted him to second team. Westbrook only got three second place votes, zero first.

LOL what? I'm not a Celtics fan, but Rondo is easily in the discussion behind Rose right now. Westbrook is a great player and top 5, but I don't even have him above CP3 or DW. He's 5th.
