After seeing the stache and the way wedge managed the mariners I was glad he wasn't in the Indians dugout anymore. I thought seattle had a couple of obvious chances to get some runs if they played small ball, but he let them swing away and it cost them.

Now the question is if the tribe are still in it come trade deadline do they go after a big name starting pitcher or do they just sit on the team they have?

It is very early and they still consider themselves "a year or two away." They wouldnt be willing to pay for a big name anything this year.

Don't rule out trading what little we have in exchange for bad minor leaguers before we have to pay them. Remember who we are dealing with here.

Exactly. Like I said earlier, they were discussion on baseball tonight on whether the tribe will trade hafner/size at the trade deadline.

I didn't make it through the game, but sure was pleased to hear the results this morning. Enjoy it and rejoice, my fellow Tribe fans!

Don't drink your glass of warm milk so early during a West Coast game.

You're welcome.

I'd welcome a trade of Hafner right now!! The problem is, no one is going to take him and assume any of his ridiculous salary.

I wouldn't want to dump Pronk. Let it ride. He's a good guy and good for the team and the town.

No it isn't. That's why the baseball tonight guys said he was probably not going to get trade.

Hafner is making 13 Milion per year this year and next year. No one is willing to pay a DH 13 Million per year when he produces like Hafner has lately. To put his 13 Million per year into perspective, the entire roster is being paid 48 Million

I wish they would start these West coast games at least an hour earlier if not 2. 1 hour can't really hurt that much on a weekday can it?
