Yes, there is a certain bit of irony about some non-Pittsburgh fans desire to constantly talk about the Pens with a glass half-empty approach when they've taken a negative "YOU IDIOT TROLL" attitude towards a couple of posters that regularly take a similar contrary attitude on Cleveland threads. But there's no rule against that. It's not like anyone ever modded Dynasty for his posts on those threads, so I doubt anyone will mod them for simply expressing a contrary opinion here.

Because it's a home game for pitt and stamkos' first playoff appearance i'm going 4-2 pens. I expect the lightning to win game 2. Also think the series will go 6 games in TBs favor.

3-2 Pittsburgh.

I also got a feeling Tampa could steal it in OT.

I'm actually not expecting Crosby to come back at all or for Pittsburgh to make a deep run, but they will win this series.

Pens win 2-0. Pittsburgh will physically manhandle the Tampons and Fleury makes a statement early in these playoffs that he will be a bitch to beat!

The home ice is somethign perhaps I over looked. Pitt I expect to be rocking tonight and the fans might be able to put the player on their backs and carry them to a victory without their leader, Crosby. If the pens are able to win a series without him i think it would be incredible.

The CEC is quiet, they need to step it up with noise.

President trophy winners usually fall short. Also, i think chicago steals this series from them. These teams have built a solid rivalry but i think chicago pulls and upset.

MAF > Rolo but Stamkos, Vinny, and St. Louis > Pitt forwards so i think it's a pretty even series.
