Even though this was double OT, the Pens may have played their best game of this series. They were relentless the entire night and that hard work paid off.
BTW, Orpik 40 minutes, Letang 38 minutes and Michalek 36 minutes........impressive! Defense wins championships.

I'm not a fan of the game starting at 12.
Historically, the Pens have not played well in the afternoon as they have played flat almost every time.

They played the Rangers at 12:30 a couple weeks back and lost.
Their record of early starts this year is 5-5. When they're playing on national TV they lost that game. When on FSN/Root they won most of the time.

Just a side note, Pittsburgh had a chance to finish off Ottawa at home last year and didn't get it done. These guys do not want to make another trip south if they don't have to, hopefully they come out as desperate as the Tampons will be for this game.

Thankfully they're on Root this time and I'll be able to watch it on TV for once!
I'll be in Martins Ferry on Saturday so it'll be nice to watch the Pens in HD this time around instead of my computer screen.
