Ryan never said his program was the be-all end-all fix. He has begged for people to add good ideas, enhance it, delete more unnecessary spending, and to make his budget the starting point, not necessarily the ending point.

I'd agree to that and in a sense it has done that. It has forced a debate that many do not want to have. Hopefully, a something is done to fix Medicare, by both sides.

"Get rid of it" will be the GOP answer to any programs like that and the Dems will slowly inch towards comprimise but won't have the balls to call the GOP out when they don't budge so nothing will happen.

If by politically correct you mean no one will do the right thing because they get voted out by the ignorant suckers of the govt teet, I'd agree.
