It gives your router a bunch more features and settings that are usually only found in far more expensive routers.
Most people probably won't have a use for those features but what is nice is being able to boost the signal strength and some other things.

I have a Netgear router. It works for our cell phones but I can't sign on to the wireless system to use other stuff.wildcat87;731725 wrote:I have Time Warner cable and We can not find a Wireless Router that works.
