Reds Lineup:
CF Stubbs
2B Phillips
1B Votto
3B Rolen
LF Gomes
RF Bruce
C Hanigan
SS Janish
P Arroyo
Brewers Lineup:
2B Weeks
CF Gomez
LF Braun
1B Fielder
3B McGehee
RF Kotsay
SS Betancourt
C Kottaras
P Wolf
Reds looking for the sweep. Arroyo is 9-7 career against the Brewers with an ERA of 3.77. However, he is a notoriously slow starter and his ERA per month in April is 4.77 for his career, over a half of a point more than his career ERA of 4.19.
Randy Wolf on the other hand has owned the Reds posting a career 10-3 record and a 3.17 ERA. However, he's struggled against Cincinnati more so in Great American Ballpark.

It would be nice to sweep everybody's "sexy" pick to win the Central...I really don't understand why more people didn't pick the Reds to win the Central again; I mean we are virtually the same exact team that won the division by 5 games last year.

Gomes goes yard, then Janish drives in a run to make it 2-1
Good sacrifice by Arroyo, 2nd and 3rd with 2 outs for Stubbsy

2 things need to stop immediately:
Stop throwing Ricky Weeks a fucking fastball...because he will hit it very far
And Chris Welch needs to stop referring to a homerun as a "dinger" it's incredibly uncomfortable

Everyone was looking for the suicide squeeze from Bronson, this is a perfect time to do it with STubbs

Wasn't a suicide squeeze, but it kinda resembled one! 3-2 Reds

Lots of good feeling in the ballpark today. Hopefully it continues when leake and lecure take the bump this week.

Awesome shit Hanigan.
Our 7-9 hitters in the lineup today are 6-8, 6 RBIs, 2 HR, and a walk....not too shabby
6-9 now with that Janish lineout.

I think Janish has said his piece about who should be getting more ABs this year at SS. I know it is a small sample size, but Janish is better in the field and watching Janish hit, then watching Renteria last night... the difference is night and day. Renteria looked old.

One thing you have to admit about the team this year is that is very deep. Both in pitching and on the bench. Heisey, Renteria, the catchers, and Francisco all provide a lot of insurance. I don't remember a Reds team that has had this much depth. (I'm 23)

+1.
I would not at all mail in a loss, when we see a mid-day lineup giving Rolen, Gomes, etc. the day off and having guys like Heisey, Hanigan, and Francisco in the lineup. In fact, I would like our chances.

Having the Reds right now really eased me after the way UK's season ended. Looking forward to an exciting summer, grilling out, just bought a 55' Sony Bravia HD TV, hopefully FSN HD is more reliable this year and it's gonna be a fun one!

I thought the Brewers might be a challenge in the division based on their talent, especially when Greinke is healthy, but the Reds have a much better clubhouse it appears. One of the best environments in the league, similar to a team like the Giants, who won last year, and the way the Twins usually are.
