As reported by Joe Schad.
@schadjoe Former Ohio St. WR Duron Carter formally committed today to play for Bama this season

Kind of a bummer because OSU is going to be thin (or at least very young) at WR this year.

OSU is better off without this headcase. Great talent on the field but rocks for brains. He could barely get by at a JUCO, should fit right in at bama.

Julio was a stud just day 1. What has Duron done besides a last name?

His grades fit right in with Bama's student body. Good luck to him.

He probably won't last there either if the grades are that bad. Maybe he'll prove everyone wrong.

He played a lot as a freshman... at Ohio State. That doesn't happen too often.

You were implying that playing at Alabama would not be a smart move for a WR. Jones is probably going to be a top 10 NFL draft pick and he played at Alabama.

Oh, and by the way, if you look at the stats, Alabama threw the ball much better than Ohio State did last year. Ohio State was/is never going to be a pass first offense with TP at QB. The offense was always smash mouth with some passing thrown in.

Glad he has resurfaced, however even more glad that he's not in Columbus.

You won't see me shed a tear for those guys. Guys should know that when they sign up to play at a SEC school, that there is a possibility that they might get their walking papers. If you don't like it, play in the Big 10, ACC, or Pac-12.

Survival of the fittest, if you are good, they won't cut you.

A lot of people say it is because he was a turd with the media all of those years. Dumb.

"Carter said he also considered Oregon, LSU, Miami and Auburn."

Funny I thought the same thing then saw what other schools he considered.

Bama is breaking in a new qb this year. I don't see him putting up even decent numbers.

We're talking about Alabama, right? Haha. I'm sure they'll find somebody who can play a little QB

What about Ohio State? We'll be throwing even less this year with Bauserman/ Miller at the helm.

that's for sure--it'll be interesting to see who gets the bulk of the carries, especially during the first five games--my money's on H2 (Hall&Hyde)
